Canadian Pilots at EK

would like to know how many canadian pilots there are at the emirates. As well if you dont mind sharing your time at hire and previous flying expereince. Thanks. I am at 3000hr lots of turbo prop, arctic south east west, etc. no jet time yet. Should be on a 727 freighter soon, any advice would help.
Much appreciated.

Canadians are the 3rd or 4th largest group @ 200 , most came when C3 shut down and AC was tanking. Not sure but most are Capt now. Most came with lots of jet time. The 727 is what they ned right now but turbo prop guys might be looked at soon, but it would take 2 years to get 1500 jet. Apply anyway and see what youget back .

If Emirates is your final goal, then as fatbus said work on getting your jet time. You can now get an interview at 1500 hours jet (provided you have the other requirments) but must have your 2000 jet prior to joining.

Just one thing to consider: avoid seating sideways on that 727.

Good luck and hope to see you over here.
