Day time treats
I have finally arrived back at Dubai during daytime hours recently, and now know what we miss out on seeing of a night time.
Has anyone else noticed the impressive demonstration of A320 cornering velocity off the high speed on 30R? It was done at a speed that allowed the side taxi way lights to be missed by millimeters, and for the anti-skid to stop the aircraft just before the parallel active. It gets my vote for min runway occupancy of the year.
It made me question the sexual orientation of my FO as his try was not nearly as well thought out nor executed.

It was my very own FO. Think it was part of the last pay package update. I do believe that the speed at which this one occured may have been a wee bit different to the Glasgow one, someone might be able to explain to you why that might matter.

I hear you Jack, don is as arrogant as they come. A while ago in the CBC he came up to me and took my FO, saying that his was split.....! The arrogance of the man knows no limits. If you have time during morning break go to the library and look up "peurile" or ask at your next boy scout meeting.

You know montencee I might well have taken yours, all the little bugg@s look the same to me. I have asked HR if they could perhaps colour code their uniforms, or perhaps hire one or two english speaking ones to help out.
Max, I have found out that once they split, you can have them replaced at the uniform shop. Seems you can order them in advance from the portal. I have also been told that they now have a few Female FOs in stock as well at the moment. They might be a bit easier to tell apart from the others. I do believe that there is a bit more paper work to be filled out if one of these split too soon though.
We will all remember of course, that there will be no humour until Eid.

Yeah forking impressive bit of high speed work, myself and MY FO were decidedly impressed by said piece of runway turn offery. Amazingly didn't twang anything. New pair of undewear per chance
