Hope they help.

I've just enrolled in Fujairah Aviation Academy which I was pretty impressed with. I start October 28th, hopefully they will transfer me to the JAA ATPL course.

Are you particularly fussed about the GCAA or JAA licence?

Do your research before you bind yourself to a school...I made the mistake of relying on a friend who gave me some incorrect details. Speak to and visit schools in person and you'll stay out of a messy situation.

Well now, you sure do look everywhere.

No first hand experience, but have heard this one, located in Aqaba, Jordan, mentioned in a positive way a few times: http://aylaaviation.com/

A few of the local airlines send their cadet pilots to the Qatar Aviation College in Doha: http://www.qac.edu.qa/

Another well known one in the United Arab Emirates: http://www.horizonuae.ae/

hi

plz never try qac ... its way tooooo expensive (120,000 usd) excluding accomodation and catering plus trayning is rubbesh in terms of ground school or even flying, mind that there are limited good ground instructors such as (DB, DH, JC, DT) which they should be in better schools and the rest are just for dicoration ... they are instructors but if u'd ask them to set the CAA exams they'll faill 100%... how was i passing my exams??? i sewar i was doing self studdy and starting 3 months b4 CAA exams. regarding flying is bad 2, no standards @ all, each and every instructor has his own way so when u go for a flying exam u'll 90% fail cuz of the others way of flying. vis is too bad, restrections, military training, bad aircrafts, most of the time in hangar and when u fly u wish that u dont get killed. regarding flying instructors, the only good 1ce are (CFI HP, AB, Kamal and Boctor) and the others are fkd, they think as they are A380 capts and treat us (students) with disrespect and they are unfair... iam writing that cuz im stuck here 4 the last (20 months) and didnt finish even 50 hrs flying yet. every day my instructor have an excuse but with the new HOT... all of us are looking for the best of it , one more thing my friend regarding ground school, f it wasnt the CGI capt JB, this place would have gone with the wind long time ago, i am not kissing arses, but telling the truth.

have fun and feel free 2 ask me about anything anytime.
