Jet Star
Well guys, it has happened.
According to flight international JetStar are looking for 787 drivers based in Melbourne and Sydney.
Requirements are 777 or similar.
Do you think that there will be any takers or will there be a stampede?

You will need to pay for a whole lot of travelling between YMML and YSSY, pay for the psych tests, pay for the sim ride....all before you even attend an interview. After all that, about a third get through.

And people accept that ?
Oz is a beautiful place but paying 40c in the dollar on that kind of salary your motivation would have to be to live in your home country. That can be the only draw card. A few more years in the Gulf for me, me thinks.

A lot like me just want to make money offshore in order to afford coming back home for a much smaller salary. As much as I'd like to work from home, at the end of the day, it simply doesn't pay enough.
