BEST AND WORST in QATAR?
Hi guys
Will be most grateful if, after telling me the salary for the A320 captain, you inform me on what you think is the best and the worst there...

Salary 320 cpt(all inclusive,flight allowance,house...)....15000u$/month..(donīt forget u$ is falling down every month vs other currencies).
The best:job stability
The worst: Doha,inflation, living here:nobody respect any rules(exept maybe religion ones), no clues of what discipline means...
If you come from singapore, this will be a schok for you to come here...

Worst: the driving.
Qatar has the highest pre capita deaths on the road of any country in the World. Given the appalling standard of driving it is - frankly - bloody surprising the toll is not higher!

Gather a telephone directory, a six pack of Tiger, the rubbish bag from the kitchen, the vuccum cleaner waste bag, whatever is left from your last salary and find three people that you always argue with.
Go to a Turkish Bath in Singapore and crank up the steam. For closest realism you should stay there four nights in a row to simulate the summer short haul roster.
Now empty the rubbish and dust bags on the floor, pour the hot beer down the drain, scream obscenities at the three assholes, burn the money and butt the directory three times.
Feels good yeah!! Join the team and lets laugh some more....

You can actually buy beer at QDC, five star hotels and two expat clubs. Sadly, many people buy too much beer to help shut everything else out.

Hermione should not listen to just this negative crap.
Go and check it out for yourself before you buy. The very best way to see this place is from a Singapore Airlines First Class seat to Paris at Flight Level 400. Do it and save regret for future mistakes.
