FTSO for A320

Hi All,
I know it repeating a question previously asked. But I applied online last month, April 2012, for Fast Track Second Officer on A320. I do meet the minimum requirements of course. Anyone has a clue how long the process might take to get called for this category, and if not even considered, do they send a rejection email?

@wingsflaps

It seems that they closed the assessment process until further notice, to be able to let people who have been waiting for a long time to get in.

That could be the reason, but unless you are a Captain or a TRI, then things could be different. Also heard due to lots of A320 pilots taken in -- rosters for A320 getting better!!

NO!!!!

@condensationtrails

i know the bad news comes first. but in how many days/weeks? so that after that time period i know that im safe...
Frankly speaking there is no certain standard time. But as per the past -- If you pass the first 2 weeks without a mail (after the assessment), then things are hopefully good for you.
Good LUCK!!

Things kinda slowed down. Even here on this thread, if we compare 5 months ago, we were all tuned on interview, questions, sim assessments, advices, feedbacks on that...etc today, it all changed and we are all tuned on WAITING. I noticed also on their website that they removed second officer fast track, only FO now.

Let's keep hoping ! It's another week. I tried to call HR, no luck.

Yes they do fly 319/21 too.
Concerning FTSO, well they removed it from the front page, but when you click on apply now, it is still there...

FTSO

Hi all,
I hope I can get some inside info on this one...
According to ppjn... the FTSO has been terminated. On the QR website, you can still apply online for this. I assume the QR is more accurate?
I received the positive e-mail for the FTSO in March... will I still get the offer, or can I forget about this?
Cheers,
cccc

@TPD

The bond for FO(First Officer) is for 3 years(36 months).
The story above says something about 60 months(5 years)...
So what you say has nothing to do with FO' s but corresponds to Ab Initio/ SO's (Second officers) who are bonded with a 5 years training bond.
Please be more careful!!

If you go on the QR Global Career page you won't find the FTSO advt. But you can still apply by clicking- apply online. However, if you go to career page via your region then you can see the FTSO advt.

Of-course you will be offered, IA. Just stay tuned. You are in the system and hence you will be called. But "when " is the question.
