Emirates 10 Year $1 million US bonus?
Heard a rumour going around......after 10 years of service at EK, company will pay a $1,000,0000US bonus. Any truth in it?

The answer is, there is no truth to this rumour at all.
But going by recently recieved emails, it would seem that a recent hire from an Oz based LCC is telling his mates at home all about this one. Once again proving why we need drug testing!!!

It is true.
After 15 years you could retire on 75% salary or 20 years 100%. That means that you would be entitled to more than $US 2 million payout!! IF YOU ARE A LOCAL!!

One thing's for sure. There is definitely no 10 year 7 figure bonus. This is the airline business not an Arsenal testimonial football game!! So for most of us mortals it will be a free subscription to Flight International.. and that's if we're lucky

If I had no soul, or if I was an American politician, or if i was a wannabee famous celebrity............. I would be covering up the truth about this company and totally encouraging all potential applicants to come here. This would truly serve my purpose, as I would be paired up with decent pilots and human beings But I will not lower myself to the GWB level and not serve my own self interest.

For the record, after serving more than 150% of the required time, my Provident Fund is worth less than 50% of the sum mentioned. And TCAS did not call me in for a pat on the back and hand me a bag of cash either.

Have you considered sitting down with a psychiatrist and delving into the problem you have with anyone who has a viewpoint contrary to yours? Or is it just that you don't have anything of consequence to say and think that personal attacks are an effective method to shut up an opponent? You make an excellent little Republican. Well I do totally agree with you on your point that the bombers are truly evil. I don't blame the American soldiers at all. Quite the contrary. I blame the government, elected by the people in 2, and let me repeat that.......... 2 ELECTIONS............ shocking! GWB knew he would be re-elected if he went to war. He doesn't give a rats ass about the American people, (witness Katrina), but he does care alot about his wealth and the wealth of his buddies.
GWB lied about Iraq and 'weapons of mass destruction' and that is the simple truth. The latest report clearly states that Al Qaeda is stronger now than before 911. There are now 35% of Republicans who disagree with GWB's policy and that says a lot. No doubt they have their own self-serving interests in mind, but my god man, this is unheard of. What was that website after the last election, decreeing from Americans by the way..... WE ARE SORRY !!!!!! to the rest of the world. Thank god there are some americans, about half by my estimation, with some integrity and intelligence left to finally admit that things have gone askew in the Good Ole USA.
Sit back, watch the dollar plunge and wreak havoc on the world, and maybe take 10 years off from going to war against some fictitious enemy. And while you are at it, park the SUV's, take down your gun racks, and stop being the biggest polluter on the planet. I can't even begin to express how many things are wrong there.
