A380 Type Rating

Question for Emirates Folks:
Will the A380 be a separate type-rating, or just a transition course for the A330/340 type rated individuals?

Any idea of if Emirates will lower the 2000Jet requirements? I know the claim is that they are screaming for pilots, but if the requirements were lowered to 1000hrs I figure the number of applicants would increase.

Any idea on how many are being hired per month?

Thank you for all the help

The A380 will be a CCQ course for A340/330 rated guys but MFF will not happen.

EK is looking at hiring DEFOs onto the 380, but what the min requirements will be, I do not know. Depends on what happens and applicants I guess.
