ME Paris Airshow orders

As the Paris Airshow is about to get underway next week, I was wondering if anyone would care to guess what the new aircraft orders would be for EY and EK?

EY has confirmed it would announce an order, but just wondering, what type and how many are we in for?

EK in for 45 HORSA Gliders (to be towed behind the A380s since the latter won't have enough hold space for the luggage of all the people it'll carry) and 60 UAV (unmanned airborne vehicles - we cannot find enough pilots to fly the line!)

No worries...I couldn't believe it myself...according to 'sources' in Flt Ops, although it sometimes looks like that they won't fill the courses, when it comes down to it, they do...so...i dunno....

QR/Paris Air Show

PARIS, France (Reuters) -- European planemaker Airbus landed $17 billion in orders from Qatar Airways at the start of the Paris air show on Monday including a new order for three A380 superjumbos.
The deals include confirmation of a previously announced order for 80 new Airbus A350 XWB models due from 2013, worth $16 billion at list prices, and three additional A380s worth almost $1 billion in total.
Qatar had already ordered 2 of the A380 superjumbo aircraft with options for another two.
Qatar will be the first airline to get the revamped A350 in 2013, Airbus President Louis Gallois told a news conference.
The order includes 20 A350-800s, 40 A350-900s and 20 A350-1000s.
The A350 deal also means an order for Rolls-Royce, which Qatar Airways named as the engine supplier.
--------------------------------
Ok, besides of 80 350's will be 5 380's.
Heard 30 dreamliners will be announced and more 5 777F adding the previous order.
5 321 still to come.
And some more 330 are being considered.
--------------------------------
So please gentlemen with all this investments please
be patient with provident found, New Villas etc etc etc.
And who will fly all these birds?

Qatari orders big at Paris

Qatari set to make big orders for A350s and A380. I personally think there's an overcapacity in the region as it is.

Well if they accept pilots need basings they will have no problems crewing their purchases, and would be at the expense of their competition.

Any chance EY is getting more A340-600's, possibly the ten from next door?
