Any info on Israeli airlines?

Hello,

I was just wondering if anybody has info. on entry requierments for Israeli airlines (El Al, Arkia, Israir)?

I know El Al used to hire only ex-air force pilots but that is not the case anymore. Does any one know what experience they are asking for?

Thanks,
Arturo.

Dodgy subject around here, Arturo. Wait for the flames from the majority land-owners in these here parts!

Can't help you on requirements, but it is usually ex-AF pilots who are employed, simply due to their availability and skills.

I don`t mean to cause any problems, it is an open forum and it`s just a question :-)

If you can help thanks, if not thanks also, no need to start flaming.

Best,
Arturo.

Hi Arturo

I know that Contractair and Parc were advertising for current A320 crews to be based in Tel Aviv for 9 months.

Not sure if that answers your question but it's all I've got..

Cheers

Hey 320CAP,

Thanks, does it say what license (FAA, JAA ICAO etc.)? Or any requierments?

My guess it`s Israir that just received their first A320, but who knows.

Thanks again,
Arturo.

Thylakoid,

Thanks, I tryed that already but I could not find it. That`s why I was asking :-).

On the other subject, it`s a shame that problems still exist in the world. I personally have nothing against any religious preference or creed. I respect all opinions and people, I`m only against violent activities from any side.

Best,
Arturo
