I wonder who makes the most money these days ?! I`m not talking about conditions, just pure money in the bank.
Is it still one of the giants EK, EY, GF, QR or is it one of the loco`s AA, JZR, RAK ??
Speaking to a few ppl I was surprised to find out it might be one of the loco`s. But they are messed around even more. I guess it is a personal choice. The 2 buckets theory comes to my mind.

Did you invest in stocks? I bought some for half of my bonus, don't know if its gonna work but am crossing my fingers it'll double up a few yrs from now.

With money like that...we could open up our own shop on the 3rd floor of Majestic City and really make some $$!
I too hope the shares do well....a good opportunity for those who have worked hard to enable the company to get to where it is today.

F/O- 13000 to 15000 aed
Allowances (housing,transport)
Captain- 9500 aed + 9500
F/O- 7000 aed
Flying pay (aed)
Captain- 30/hr(1-25 hrs),60/hr(26-50 hrs),120hr(51-75 hrs),240/hr(76+ hrs) + 25*30 + 25*60 + 25*120 + 18*240 = + 9570
F/O- 20/hr,40/hr,80/hr,160/hr
Duty pay
10 dirhams/hr each for time on duty (average 150hrs/month) +180
Overnight Pay
230 Dirhams for every CMB overnight (the only night stop) + 230
Working on Day off
Captain- 280 aed
F/O- 220 aed
Average month - 85 hours flight time
Bonus last year was 2 months basic salary
Upper management very good and committed to a prosperous future, work with great people, not without it's problems but overall...a positive place to be.

Bigbusboy, you are bad! What you copy-pasted were the old figures. Check out AA website and you'll see that Terd's numbers are right. We did get hefty sums for the month of Feb because of the new rate plus the 3 months bonus. I'm not pulling your legs, dude. It's real!

Awaiting your apology. Why did you ask if you are not going to believe? How much did I take home last month...considering I got 36000 Dirhams before switching on the ADIRs on February 1st (basic+)?
