A380 to Emirates ?

There has been a lot of speculation that a 380 will be delivered shortly to avoid the late introduction of type penalties. Can anyone verify ?
Who is going to fly the 380 when it arrives ? Do we have crews in training ? Has there been a show of hands for crews who want to fly it ?
I have also been told 3 777s sit in Seattle due to the crew shortages in Emirates . Is this true ?
Thanks

Well, i'd be very surprised to see them park here. Very little room for one and poor PR with Aircraft sitting around. Much easier to nit pick about minor faults with the Aircraft in Seattle and delay delivery, thus 'blaming' Boeing and not themselves. NEVER underestimate ' loss of face ' in this part of the World.

Only a hunch mind you.....................

Agreed. So what does the sacking of 10,000 Airbus workers mean in the big scheme of things ? How will it affect airbus deliveries ?

Perhaps the fact that there were 10,000 employees too many in the loop contributed to the delay....too many chiefs and all that good stuff???!! Just a theory....
