Now, you call it a big decision, so here's my advice: DON'T
Working in the airline industry in Qatar means that you will have to follow some very particular rules:
-curfew after 10p.m. for members of the other sex in your accomodation
-in case you should meet the person you want to marry, you have to ask the CEO for marriage permission.
-if you report sick, you have up to 3 different people from the welfare department calling you to ask for the reason.
-welfare has a key to your apartment and also to your private room. they make inspections whenever they want..privacy ?
Only come to doha/Qatar if:
- you have a waterproof backup plan
- you intend to stay for 1 year (2 years maximum!!!!) as an experience in your life
- you are not afraid of loosing the fun of flying and getting disgusted
- you like or at least don't mind the idea of being kept like a personal slave of the CEO
All the best with your BIG decision.
And again: if you kind of enjoy the job you have now...DON'T leave it behind for coming to Qatar. It's not worth it.

Hello everyoneee!
If you are interested in working for Qatar Airways.. Of course think about it twice because the working environment is very hard.
If you are a flight attendant already and you love/hate your job.. You will have the same feelings here. All of the pax are the same IT DOESN'T MATTER IN WHICH AIRLINE YOU ARE WORKING FOR!!!
it's very hot here, and some things are unbearable, but if you are discipline and patient, there a lot of things here to enjoy as well!! Life is fine..
However you have to be very prepared before you come, lots of people have run away immediately when they came!! Stress is huge, and changes to get terminated arise every day.
It depends on what kind of a person you are.. You want to travel? you want money? ok. But find out about the restrictions first and then you can decide. It seems like they treat you like a 14 year old child and you are not totally free.. But still it's not like jail. It could be worse, like Riyadh or Jeddah! So i am not complaining..
I cannot hear silly things about this airline all the time, that's why i decided to post this.. If there are some people who really hate it.... We are not locked in any cage in this country guys, wake up!!!
With love!
Bye!
