EK flying to Cairns
Hi,
The Cairns Port Authority are in Dubai discussing EK flights from Dubai to Cairns. I'd guess it'd be via Singapore, if it happens at all. Maybe DXB SIN CNS AKL return.

CNS port authority, along with just about every international airport in AUS were in DXB recently as part of the Routes conference that is held every year .. this time it was DXB turn to host
Its a conference where airlines and airports meet to discuss route development opportunities and future planning
So this wasnt a special meeting between CNS and EK ... they would have been just one of many talking to the DXB crowd
You'll see ADL long before CNS if anything .. but it all depends on CBR on what they are willing to give EK .... next round of talks are sched for Dec
