The furbpilot looking for love thread
Hi
I went for dinner to a friends house in silicon oasis and i was quite impressed ( ..and i don't normally get impressed easily..) by the place. May be it is a little far form the city ( is it that a minus ?? )but it is very quiet, well lanscaped, with many amenities and, incredible!!, you can ear crickets. Temperature is about a couple of degrees less than in downtown Dubai. So i'm just wondering why the fact that i did not have a family yet due to a number of reasons that are incindental i have to be discriminated by the company and offered !!!!ty accomodation for the same money. I think this is far to be fair and is actually dividing the pilots into privileged and not privileged just because of something that sometimes is out of control like relationship and procreation.
I don't know how many of you agree with this. I know a couple and for some reason they can't have child. Why should they live in ******* tower in a very crowded area..while should i be living in the same place just because i did not find the women of my life ..yet while my collegue for the only fact that procreated ( and you know,,we are already to many on this planet,,) would have much better accomodation ?

sorry to read about your unsucessful love life Furbpilot ..... I guess we cant all be the italian stalion. My advice is stay single and be happy
Am I right in saying that you will get a villa if you are upgraded...so if you arent already a Capt just hang in there. the tranquil serenity of the Silicon Oasis will be yours

You will get offered a villa when you become a capt. This was a change for the better that happened a few years back. One of the few!
Until then it aint worth getting uptight about, because no one will listen, Chill.... There is also the 100,000 dirhams in education reimbursements that you will never get unless you have kids. But don't let that get you down either.

I believe he's on the A310 fleet ..flying all those very expensive horses around. They needed experience in the area of being a quadraplex.....(is that spelt correctly)
Oh and dont forget .....you max out on the education, travel and Medical benefits with three rug rats at EK.
