EK hour requirements

Hello to all,

I would appreciate any assistance regarding the following:

I have visited the EK careers website and understand the entry requirements for a F/O slot to be at 2000hrs Jet.

I currently have around 1500 heavy jet. Have any F/Os been taken with less experience than 2000hrs jet? My total time is not a problem.

Thanks in advance to all the proactive information!

In that case, where do the EK UAE Ab Initio Cadets get there 2000 hours on jets?

What about Air Arabia, they require there FOs only to have 1500TT with 800 on type.

Seems all a bit odd to me. Please let me know If Im missing something. I was always under the impression that this was a EK company parameter only.

Don't confuse GCAA with EK...EK want pilots with 4000hrs.....2000hrs jet..no debate....(not sure how anyone could confuse the two...SHK Ahmed maybe!!!)

GCAA require the ICAO minimum...200hrs..ish to be a f/o or s/o with an Emarati airline...

Ketek is someone with knowledge(not sure of what tho')....

EK cadets have 200hrs...and occupy the RHS of an EK 330 or 777..so i assume the GCAA allow GCAA CPL holders to fly GCAA registered planes ....

Small little mistake. Thought the req was for CAA and not Emirates. Whatever!
