Smile Direct Entry Captain Saudi Airlines.

Hi,

I'm looking for a captain's job in Saudi Airlines.

I'd like to get some information about the company's culture, its management style, discipline etc.

Can someone help me with this please?

Thank you.

Smile It is getting better

Hi,

What I know about Saudia Airlines is the following:

1. It is going towerds privitization within the comming three years.
2. Saudi Government has licenessed for two more companies as LCC who are going to start in 2007 as compatitors to Saudia Airline in the local flights and in another 2 years will be authorised to fly internationally.
3. A new General Manager was brout in around one or couple of mohts ago.
4. Many changes are about to happen inside the high level management due to change of GM and working towrd privitization.
5. Saudia has offered its first Business Unit for privitization which is catering only yesterday.

I hope I helped you little bit with the little information I had.

Regards,

Thank you for the comprehensive response, sir

I would appreciate it if you could tell me more about the screening and selection process, including tests and interviews.

Are they reasonable or tough?

At least saudia pays the salaries.
Since I left there have had to go through 2 small crew strikes with my present airline just to get paid.

Thank you Romasik for the link. It is a very informative discussion, especially about the residential compound, but there wasn't much mentioned about initial screening, interview or training. Could you please elaborate on those areas?

And what about the 6-days-in-a-row? Are they monthly? And do you get a discounted firm ticket for that?

Thank you for taking the time to answer
