bringing own vehicle

does anyone know what the costs are for importing own car to bahrain, is there a customs charge and are right hand drive vehicles allowed in bahrain?

duty is generally 5% of the assessed value of the vehicle..another 30bd or so for the registration/road tax formalities....havent seen a right-drive car here in a while..I'll try and find out
