Al Rais B767's ???

In the press that Al Rais going to obtain B767F's to replace their B727F'S?

given that the B727's do not seem to have moved in months, does anyone out there know anything about this? Existing 'operation'? Future developments for the B767's? I thought GCAA stopped them from flying?
B767 dofferent ball game than B727's.

Any pilots in Al Rais still, or have they all left?

Anyone in the know? I have always been interested to see those rotting B727's and wondered what fate had in store for them.

The GCAA had previously grounded the 727s for dodgy maintenance being performed on them in Iran. They've been sitting in front of the old Royal Flight hangars without moving for quite some time, so I assume that they are grounded again (the upcoming GCAA ban on aircraft over 25 years of age would have knocked them out anyway if it goes through). I don't believe the flight crew are around any more (ex MEA drivers).

Al Rais announced they will be leasing two 767s for "expanded" operations.
