HOUSING AT ETIHAD
We are fast approaching 3 years as ETIHAD being a new airline in the gulf. So why are we so out of balance when it comes to housing compared to our comrades at Emirates.At the moment we have brand new pilots and crew waiting to start there life in Abu Dhabi. Instead there parked in some hotels waiting for new permanent accomadation to be provided.´What is with the lack of vision from our housing department and our management. Any idiot could have figured that x amount of airplanes equals x amount of crews. They have to live some place.
The last building that was supposed to house 70 plus pilots was shotdown for many reasons by the pilots incuding the fact that there was no parking. So recentely a new building has surfaced with only parking for half of the piolts. HELLO is anybody home at the management?
New cabin crew had been told to share beds with théir new class mates as not enough hotel rooms are available. What the heck is this?.Why not just buy some of those cheap labour camps in the desert, i am sure it has already been discussed.
With average priced rents reported by the gulf news at above 120,000 durhams in Abu Dhabi, and a allowance of 85,000 and 90,000 for captains. It is so obvious that we are very far off with the house allowance. I believe that our emirates friends are receiving between 115,000 and 127,000 durhams.You the management have done studys since the inception and you have the results. IT IS NOT WORKING. By simply doing nothing to help with this matter you have made it clear that you just dont care. Shame on you mister chairman and you the management

Why don't they fix this problem? The so called company provided accomodation are buildings they wanted to kick cabin crew out of. That might be fine for some, but the rest of us want what we were promised. Villa's or large apartments with parking! Either get us this or raise the allowance. You are paying more for some of these suites (C5) than the allowance. Why is that? What is the problem with raising the allowance? Afraid of cutting into your kickbacks?

Guys Guys don't go too fare!! look no were anymore. An airline being managed (only by name and not by fact) by X Gulf Air, who is a VP with EY, AY together with his sleaves, where would the airline go????
If you open your mouth today, you will be sucked tomorrow early morning.
Who is really ruling the airline? A failure from Gulf Air with his failure team.
Did you see in any other organization, a VP sucks the CEO??????
