Does Etihad have internet on board?

"In the Coral Zone, Guests have the comfort of a 32" seat pitch and 10.4" seatback LCD monitors on each seat. Each seat has a USB port, an RJ 45 socket and power access, allowing them to connect to a laptop and work while they fly"

any of you guys working for etihad

They have WiFi enabled cabins, but ONLY on the new Boeing 77W aircraft. Yes, it is available in all cabins.

A330 / A340 / B767 doesn't yet have it, but will be retrofitted later (not the 76 though), and new deliveries will probably come equipped.

The 777-300ER operates on routes to LGW, FRA and MNL so far.

Etihad have internet access on the B777's only

From April 20 offering a complimentry 30 min internet access voucher on B777 with the exception of JBN route, as no CBB coverage!
Limited voucher supply per A/C per flt... see cabin manager for details.

Manchester to Abu Dabi A330-200

The statement in my first post is referring to this route and coral (economy class)
I got it from the Etihad website.
doesnt mention any fee or vouchers
nor does it mention WiFi!
so is this just to tempt customers?
if no internet connection then what is the USB port for

I gather you are talking about the MAN-AUH route?
Operated by A330 only at this time... EYG and F are on this route most of the time.

Yes you will need your own cable.

Voucher promotion may not be advised on website as yet!
And once again only available for the B777 I am afraid.

By the way what are their demands during a pilot interview?
Do we have only a simulator session or does that consist in a long process of tests like those in use with Emirates?
