Emirates Employment

For last 18 years I have been in Flight Operations/Flight Safety management and have been trying to join Emirates through their website. However I have noticed that anytime I appliy for a post which concerns my field I can prompt reply of sorry we can not consider you this time. I have all the qualification for these posts and my highest level of education is MSC in Aviation.
Does anyone knows how does the selection work in Emirates and who involved in the process. I know people wh have been recruited with less qualification. Do I need to know someone inside who can push my papers to the right people? Can anyone from Emirates share with me the experience they had in getting in.

Why on earth would you want to waste your talent and experience on this shower of crap where you will be under valued and under paid.

Keep plugging away at the other Gulf operators if this is where you want to live, in the long run you will be much happier.

Good luck.

Have a look at emirates.com for EK, just don't believe it all. To answer your question:
Requirements for Position of First Officer - A330/A340 and B777
A minimum of 4000 hours total flying time.
A minimum of 2000 hours multi-crew, multi-engined jet aircraft experience.
ICAO ATPL.
Applicants must be less than 49 years on joining.
English language fluency (written and verbal comprehension).
Experience commensurate with age.
Type rated would be advantageous.
