Staff standby on EK...

Hi guys.
Just looking for a little inside advice...
I am considering standby from JFK-DXB-JNB and return (during the first half of April) on EK with a ID90/ZED ticket. Is it feasible or am I out of my mind? I have heard that staff travel on EK is difficult, so any advice would be appreciated...

well JFK-LHR-JNB is a much better bet or FRA as well.

Generally the EK flights are quite full (good for business and profit share )

1-3 Apr JFK-DXB Wide open
1-3 Apr DXB-JNB packed (try 4/4 or 12/4)

Go for EK202 from JFk as the loads are lighter. JNB is always a busy sector but go for EK763 as lighter than 761
