Qatar to put up cash
Rumour has it Qatar pilots will soon get a 50% pay rise, the country is awash with cash and they cannot afford any hiccups in expansion.
They have also bought a fair amount of land to accomodate staff rather than relying on rentals.
Bases are also being considered in the near future, probably in Europe , Australia , UK and others on request.
If EK has started poaching from Qatar they'd better look out, because if its true, Qatar could empty one of its competitors of pilots and engineers.
Why do i always choose the wrong airline..................

Rumours in Qatar, especially those talking about improvements or new "benefits" for the employees are ONLY rumours - finally worth NOTHING - until you have the Qatar "benefits" in your hands or in your account.
but this is another l o n g story.
they are great to promise, promise, promise. But waiting for them to fullfill all the promises you may wait until the end of you career.
Don't count too much on Qatar's positive rumours or good promises.

50% increase...??!!
IF itīs true...(wich i doubt) it means qatar airways must be in a really deep sh.. and really really desperated to find crew.
Because here they donīt increase the salary to make you more happy( this is the latest priority of the company),but in order to try to stop the crew from leaving the boot..!
