My friends, I have a job offer in Bahrain in the travel industry for a monthly Gross Salary of (GBP 3300) Equivalent to BHD 2180/-. Is this amount enough for a family of three, including an 8 years son?
I would like to know any kind of information, as cost of living, housing, education, car…etc. Any kind of information will help me.
Thank you very much.

ok some figures for you:
you usually get a nice place for 700BD (house with garden in a compound in budaia with swimming pool + gym etc...)
you rent a small car per month for 120 BD
1 coffee in starbucks: 1,3 BD
usual grocery shopping for two for one week at Geant: 40BD
Shushi for two: 20 BD
normal restaurant per person: around 5 BD
one day at the beach from the ritz carlton: 18 BD for families
i hope it helps, i think you should be fine with this salary, check if you have also housing allowances, education allowances or transport allownaces and/or utility allowances ... and if not ask for it ! it is usual for expats to get these...
cheers
