GF to Dublin

Is there any truth in the recent rumours circulating the pink palace of late that GF may be heading to Dublin soon?

With the recent dropping of two routes - maybe there will be a few new doors opening.... would make for a nice change!

I also heard Amsterdam and Zurich being tossed about..... interesting times!

From: "THAT" place??!!
Nope. Nada. Nyet. Another rumour put to rest, IMHO (he says, reading the finer print...).

Fuel is killing everyone, and GF is doing the right thing by waiting it out. It's a COMMERCIAL driven airline, not an EGO driven one like in so many places. Watch it grow soon enough, but after YEARS of inept practices, the last few years have been a great turnaround for GF, but this insane fuel situation is pissing everyone's fires down a bit, unfortunately.

Having said that, GF is posed to become a lean, mean and (almost) a clean machine... Let's hope things continue to inprove there and maybe GF will end up doing what the rumours you heard.

As they say, "shoi shoi!" (slowly, slowly!). Give them time...it shall happen "Inshallah"!!

Cheers,
Ray Darr

Hogan definitely met with the Irish Prime minister in Bahrain a few months ago. The theory is to feed the Aer Lingus network to the states (at least 5 flights a day) and GF to take Australia traffic out of Ireland. Who knows what will happen.
