Anyone tell me where/how Saudia train 'new' pilots from PPL through to ATPL?

In-house or overseas?

Appreciate any info.

A Saudi friend of mine is looking to retrain after 10 years in engineering and isn't sure where to start.

Saudia do not train "new" pilots, that stopped post 911.

Bear 555, they have over 700 qualified CPL/ME/IR holders on the books, so they will not be going back into the ab-initio business. If your friend qualified today, he could probably find a slot in 2015.
