Hi,
Soon they will start hiring first officers, but
believe me, you don’t want to get a job with DHL,
at least not now, wait for the management to change and
If you get lucky, you’ll get the job in 100 years.
Cheers

Well..I have to disagree with our Airbus monickered friend..I'm no longer there, but did 11+ years with DHL BAH, and know most of the blokes there, and have to say they are all good folk...so apply, good luck, and judge them for yourself once you are on the property.....

Hi there
Plenty tossers in there.
There are a lot of people with no experience. Should get ride of them and replace them. But unfortunately they are the one who get ride of us first.
The big prob in this company is that every thing is filtered and nothing gets to the boss.
I am sure iron that you left because of that. Didn’t you?????
By the way when you say ops do you mean flight ops?????Since there is a guy in there that consider himself as god.
With this I retired
Cheers

DHL BAH
Cannot complain tooooo much.
Recently upgraded and plenty of internal promotion on the prop fleet. They might have stopped employing direct entry commanders on that type.
Fact...the upgrades on the prop fleet only started when got new cp. Might be more upgrades with a Kiwi departure or was he an Oz. Anyway they are all the same.
Wonder what boss does not get the information...we have so many.
Get over it....if you do not like it...then leave.... we get payed on time...its a job....had worse.
Fact...I have found the prop cp approachable...he's a bit of a tosser sometimes..gets pissed off...but better than previous.
Rumour is that he is giving it up.....who will they get next???

Well I just left there.
Had no problem with the place, gave me a job when I didn't have one.
In fact one of the easier jobs I've had, no loading, no flight planning, just sort out the fuel order, load and go. Prop routes have been reduced with intro of jet fleet. Flying was easy, good people to work with, good maint., never had any saftey issues pay was always on time, housing provided. Could things have been better, well I'm sure all pilots think that it could be better at all company's they work at. And all company's have some problems and DHL Middle East isn't the execption.
Biggest problem is that the place is expanding faster than can be handled with lots of cargo to be moved for the Yanks that needs to be taken advantage of while it's there.
Enjoyed my 2 years there, but won't miss the summers or the bad drivers.
Guess people should think back to their worst job and if there wasn't a fisrt job other than DHL Bah then I really think they have no reason to complain. Cause things could be much much worse there.
Just go to work do your job and go home, don't get involved in company politics EVER!!!
My 2 cents
