There is no-one at Jet Airways anymore. They're all in Doha these days, commanding cockpits or cabins of QR Airbuses to LHR on the 001 on a daily basis!!!!!! (And to no other destination!!!!!!!)

(sic........before anyone starts moaning and groaning about this. Don't bother - I am saying it in jest. Let's see who is the first person to start whinging about this!)

To answer your original question, not sure if this is true, but I am hearing rumours that 9W will start flying to DXB and LGW soon. Is this true?? 9W operates a truly exceptional service. I like it a lot. And the 737 fleet is all brand new.

Not to DXB any time soon. But the latest bloke in the minister of aviation's chair is trying his best to stamp his identity by proposing that they are given the rights to operate unutlilised entitlements from the Indian side to all overseas destinations (except middle east ). Last heard the communists (who help in propping up the current government) has come around to the view that this apparent generosity from the minister (in the guise of benefit to the Indian passenger) is more of benefit to Jet, Sahara et all than any one else and have decided to oppose the move.

Full details here from the party website

Looks like that for once they have done their homework right!
