Lightbulb gf insurance?

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE MEDICALLY UNFIT TO FLY FOR AWHILE AND YOU NEED A SALARY ? HOPE YOU HAVE BEEN HERE AT LEAST TEN YEARS AND ACCUMULATED SICK LEAVE. ARE YOU INSURED?

Thats actually a good question. I think I read somewhere that if something happens and you can't fly nomore meaning "loss of license" they pay something like 48 months base salary. But that of course could have changed by now.

medical

How does the medical thing affect the company loss of license ( not called that) thing? Surely you should be covered, or at least have some income from that. I heard it only applied after 5 yrs service. If true, can't remember that being stated.
