So refreshing to hear that some things never change.....Circa 1977, yours truly was a young ATCO with IAL in Doha-ha. I seem to recall then MR A was the owner of a Baby shop in the high street. He rented out his upstairs flat as a drinking den to the IAL ATCO's. Congratulations to IAL station manager, Mr Bob Trembath...you bet on the right man Bob!!!

And did you know that he’s not actually Qatari by birth??? He’s Indian and so is his mother, who was a widow and re-married (this time around with a Qatari) and he has adopted PD.

Of course! Maybe that's why they were incriminated and went to jail together, although Al Fardan was there for longer... no wonder why we haven't seen PD for a very long time at Al Fardan building (where QTA has its offices) after the case exploded .

Princess - I think he is the son of an Iranian slave. Many thousands were brought over from Iran in the early C20th.
