HOTAC DXB - near EK Training Centre

Since DXB has changed so much since I worked there, can anyone recommend a reasonably decent hotel near EK's Training Centre?

Le Meridien Dubai at the airport and Al Bustan Rotana are the two closest. 971-4-282-4040 and 282-0000 respectively.
