Hajj Man,
No need to apologise mate....
Its always good to check things out , it was as well possible that I was wrong here although on this one I was rather sure...
Its bad enough allready as it is for our own pilots, being loyal to QR and at the same time having DEC joining our fleets...
No upgrades, no fleet transfers on the 320, no upgrades on 300 etc.....
When will our managment finally realise that by doing so they are scaring their most loyals and good pilots away...
On 320 we have at least 6 captains and 4 F/Os who will leave in the next months thanks to this policy....
So it becomes a viscious circle.....and that is bad for all of us!
Anyway, they will have to find that out sooner or later I guess.
Take care

what about a sjisha in stead of that crate

Qatari515 and WXman,
Thanks for the reply.
I am with you guys on the upgrade for the F/O and holding back the A-320 captains from the wide body fleet. Very disgraceful to say the least that a company will treat their loyal employees like this and keep holding them back. I really hope that the policy here will change soon because many more than the 6 capts and the 4 f/os you talk about will be looking for employment elsewhere soon i think. Not sure but I think this may happen.
I think QR would be a great place to work for many if this policy of "holding back the pilots that are here and bringing in DEC and also F/O on the widebody ahead of guys who have served time." Not only have they served time but they have the level of experience needed to be GREAT CAPTAINS, I have seen and flown with many F/o that more than meet the requirements for QR.
Anyhow enough said.
Now a Sjisha I do enjoy with a nice cold Pepsi.
Thanks.................

Hajj and QR515,
I have to tell you this. Smoking one Sjisha is worse than smoking 40 cigarettes! And as for winning a Hummer by drinking Pepsi, you will then also put yourself further in harm's way. They say that 40% of Qatar's fatalities per annum occur on the roads! And seeing the way they drive here, it's no wonder!
Smoking kills!
