Etihad Cabin Crew

Can anyone please tell me anything about working for Etihad Airways. I have just recently been accepted to work for them and will be travelling to AUH soon. Please let me know how the crew are, if the conditions are good, What its like to live in AUH and anything else you think I should know about them.
Thanks

Bit late to be asking now isn't it John

'Fraid I can't shed any light as I've never hear of them (I'm in SV-land)

God luck anyway, and post the answer to your own question when you arrive!!

Good Luck, John. Don' know anything much about Etihad, other than they appear to be a decent set-up and have a strong backing. (Couldn't be stronger, in fact).

However, assuming that you come from an already experienced flying background, don't be a little surprised or frustrated if things in AUH are a little bit slow and muddled up. The company has only just recently been created and is still facing some initial teething troubles (troubles maybe too strong a word, in fact).

As for AUH and the team you are joining, lots of them DO have local Gulf experience and will help you to settle in. I wouldn't worry. Abu Dhabi itself is a great little (!) place and you will absolutely enjoy it.

So, Good Luck!!!!!!

You may find a similarity with the Middle East in general if you are a reader of Terry Pratchett's "DiscWorld" novels.

The "ether" here is thick and soupy, and time travels so much more slowly through it.

After a while, one gets used to this

(say, about ten years)
