Etihad And Qatari Co-operation

I am hearing lots of rumours that Etihad and Qatar Airways will increase their levels of co-operation during the next few months and will extend their code-sharing to include several of each others current routes.

I can't really see this working, as a principle, but the source of this information is normally pretty reliable.

Can anyone volunteer more info on this?

Thank you.

Maybe QR is being nice so that Etihad doesn't scoop up every single A330 rated pilot they have. That would cause some attitude adjustment at HR dept.
