UL pulling out of Oman

Is it true that UL will be pulling out of Oman? Wonder why?

which airlines is "UL", I had a look at the IATA website, couldnt find anyone... pls advise...

If I am not mistaken, UL is SriLankan Airlines. I am surprised it is not posted on the IATA website.

Don't know Sri Lankan as UL, but certainly ALK but that is from an ATC perspective....I would be suprised if they pulled the pin considering the enormous expatriate Sri Lankan community that exists in Oman.

Unless the withdrawal is tied in with the major shareholder Emirates as they are flying their night flight DXB-MCT-DXB again now (+ the morning flight) which would connect with their Columbo flights.
