Reports suggest that MenaJet will start flying at the end of this month or early in January (with 2 A320 aircraft) on routes other than those operated by Air Arabia. As for TransGulf Express, I have no idea. I would not be surprised if this project was shelved due to their late arrival and the start-up of 2 similar projects (Air Arabia and MenaJet)... I dont think this fledgling market can support a third carrier.
