"airline time" for QR?
Hi Folks,
Had no answer to my question in a previous subject so i start a new post with it. Maybe an insider will have a clue
I have a friend of mine who would like to apply with QR as an FO.
He is not type rated but he has around 2500 hours of business jet as an SIC and is ready to sign a bond with QR.
He is working in the US in a part 135 company (Charter Operations for those who don't know )
Do you think charter operations can be considered as airline time?
Thanks for any pertinent info.......
Cheers

hi...
i wouldn't know for sure... but i would say so but the best thing he can do is to call 00974 4496000 and ask to speak to the head in charge of the matter....Flight operations....
i think he shouldn't have to worry, anything is accepted here (well, to say the least...give it a try)
good luck
check out the other posts, theres answer about salaries etc...
