If we are talking about the same event, it was a tire failure, caused structural damage to the engine and tail area.
Mike, #1 MD90 sim is flying nicely and is approved for use by the PCA. Actually flew it a couple of days ago, unfortunately its not a nice as the B777 sim sitting beside it, nor is it approved for FAA type ratings as the FAA are too scared to enter Saudi Arabia.

No worries, we still have the MD11, 717, MD82, & the 737-200. We are pretty excited as the 737NG will be down here in 2004.
If not, my wife said that if anything happens, she will have me work the streets to make extra money, this is California, so there is a good chance of making some extra money.
