Regarding teeth, the woman who did the highest ever handglide off the bottom of a balloon at 30k + feet in Saudi or somewhere similar, had her fillings redrilled, so that air gaps expanding did not explode and cause her massive pain. In this respect, it probably is possible that decompression can cause pain from fillings, however, it was I think only a minor risk they said on the programme, from older fillings?

Oh, and my ears can do that as well, ond only at the end of a cold do they tend to need 'blowing' against the nose to equalise the pressure.

So what is it that causes earache?

Is it true that you can clear moisture in your middle ear section yourselve with the help of a red lamp (like one used for massage)? What to do with too much slime build up in nose?

Maybe so, although i'm only guessing! This I would imagine if it did indeed work would be due to the heat from the lamp heating the cavities etc in the nose and ear, and therefore changing the viscosity of the mucus, allowing it flow much easier, hence clear. The heat may also enlarge the cavities helping further.

And what to do with the slime afterwards, why use it as wall paper paste of course!!

Speaking of blocked ears, my left ear is blocked at the moment as the result of wax, I've used Cerumol, Earex, Ortex etc etc but it doesn't seem to clear it. I am thinking of getting it syringed but I've heard stories of eardrums being punctured etc. Has anyone done this?
