Australian Class One to JAR Class One
Hi
I have an Australian CASA CPL (H) and a current Australian CASA Class One Medical.
Assuming I want to return to the UK and obtain my JAR CPL(H) do I have to complete the full initial Class One at Gatwick or merely do a Class One renewal?
Has anyone converted a ICAO Class One Medical to a JAR Class One?
Any information greatly appreciated.

Yep I did it in 2001.
Unfortunately you still have to go to Gatwick, however, they don't sting you £400. It's about 1/2 price. You have to tell them that you have a professional licence and I think you'll have to bring that too to get the discount.
You do the ECG, blood pressure, urine check, eyes, colour vision, maybe blood test (that was under conjecture) and general physical. There's no chest x-ray or EEG.
