RAF eyesight rerquirements?
anyone know the requirements for raf pilot, is it really 20/20 vision, uncorrected????
can you apply and they will just turn you down or what?

"If being an RAF pilot is your game, then if you have pretty much anything wrong with eyes its a firm no and a push towards the door. (I haven't actually experianced this)."

I was at a careers gathering with my school and the armed forces were there. I went up to the RAF desk to pick up some leaflets. The guy at the desk asked me what i wanted to do in the RAF and so i said pilot. He took an immediate notice to my glasses (that i was wearing at the time) and pretty much told me you needed uncorrected 20/20 vi
