Spectrolux lantern test

G'day all,

Anyone out there done a Spectrolux lantern test. What can you tell me about it? Does it use pale shades of red/green/white or straight forward official aviation colours... Any advise appreciated.

See that nobody has replied so far. Can not comment specifically on the Spectrolux but assume that is just a brand of lantern used.

IIRC (Nearly 25 years since I did mine) they were shades of the official colours.

At the time I did not realise they were only green/white/red.

Anyway must have been OK as I passed and am colour safe (well it says so in my licence!)

Best of luck

FD

Thanks for your reply guys. I'm an Australian pilot, hold all the licences and ratings etc, employed full time as an IFR charter pilot and I have a green colour weakness. In the real world world it hasn't affected my flying, but i'm now thinking of coming over to Europe to work as I also have an EU passport.

Doing the test Apr, wish me luck....
