EASA TO UK CAA conversion
Hi all,
A question regarding the conversion of EASA to UK CAA ATPL .
Is there any possible way around obtaining a UK CAA class 1 medical without having to do a full INITIAL in the UK . I hold an EASA class 1 and there are parameters within the medical where I meet the requirements for my recurrent but not good enough to meet the requirements for a full initial. I missed the deadline to convert 31st Dec 22 .
Thanks.

Feel free to ask the CAA, but unless you've previously (last 5 years) held a UK CAA medical, I don't think you'll like answer.
Good luck

Thanks for the reply Deltahotel. Unfortunately route 6 is my option with the CAA and also the need to do a full initial. I said I’d ask just in case there was another avenue through a Commonwealth country etc. wishful thinking !
