Can you be cleared for EASA Class 1 with this cardiac condition?

I am hoping for the presence of EASA AMEs in this forum, or people who´ve had the same issue:

Former EASA Class 1 expired, so need to basically take a new inital Class 1 being late 40s, in order to get back into the industry. Not at all sure I can do this, because during a pre-surgery checkup in spring, I was diagnosed with a complete Left Bundle Branch Block. It was confirmed by a cardiologist, and then examined through a 24h ECG and a cardiac echography. Both of which came back normal. I have been undergoing job medicals regularly without any issues, so the LBBB onset is likely less than 2 years old. The cardiologist deemed it "idiopathic" and asymptomatic, the most likely cause being a hefty infection after my second COVID shot.

Is it at all allowed to clear people for an initial EASA Class 1 with this condition (initial probably being the key word here - wish I´d never had the old one expire...)? If so, what would the protocol be / which examinations required? Would I have to do more than what has already been examined?

Hello,

I’m not an AME, nor do I have a first hand experience with LBBB. However - in case it helps - for initial you need to show a 3 year history of stability. So I assume this is 3 years from diagnosis.

Thanks! Your chart is CAA, no idea if EASA is the same. I assume they are usually to the stricter side compared to CAA and FAA.

Varies from MS to MS. UK CAA is generally fairly well aligned with EASA.

Why would EASA be stricter? My EASA licence is with an authority I generally find easier to deal with and more flexible than the CAA!
