CAA Class 3 Medical - Mental Health History

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with having a Class 3 medical with a mental health history? I was seen during my teenage years (a decade ago) for low mood which I received CBT for, and again in 2022 for stress-related symptoms due to a big life change. My doctor recently reviewed me and confirmed that my mental health is not a concern anymore and I am doing well.

Does anyone know if I am likely to be referred to a specialist for this, and if so how long referrals take? I had the option of starting my course in November, but not sure if my referral would be completed in time if I am referred to a psychiatrist.

Thanks!
