Rotator Cuff surgery 2023

Hi, I have gone through the older posts on this topic but nothing more recent than about 2017, and I am interested to hear from anyone with experience in post surgery in the past 5yrs and especially getting the medical back.- What was required?
From a scan I have a full supraspinatus tear, however almost full movement due to being an active swimmer, which probably help wear it out. The injury is from a hard sideways fall. Treated by physio and chiro it has been good for about 8 months, but now come back after packing and moving boxes for my house move. 2nd scan shows more damage now, and about to go to a specialist surgeon for review.
