Clarity, OML or no medical?

Hi, my previous thread/post gives more info on my medical challenge. But basically I am phased with something that may make getting a class 1 hard.

Question I would be super grateful to know is...in the UK under the UK CAA can someone get an initial class 1 BUT have an OML restriction added?

I read this was the case in 2018 etc after a rule change. I was wondering if I can get a UK medical with an OML worst case or is there no chance? Seems pretty bad how it has changed one year to the next.

Any info appreciated, thanks

I know several people who have had initial Class 1 issued with an OML.

Thanks for the reply, that's positive response to hear.

I was under that impression but it seems some AMEs say so.and others say the opposite. I emailed the CAA but as expected have had no response. You know anyone recently to get one rudestuff?
