medical after broken bone recovery

Anyone has experience in getting their medical back after a fracture recovery? The case at hand is a broken humerus. Thanks all.

Ask the hospital consultant to confirm full & normal recovery with a letter to your AME.

Worth paying for a couple of sessions with a good, trusted, private physio (not just to help the process but because it will be so much better than the hands-off stuff you get from NHS) who can write a letter to your AME with lots of really nice things about your recovery, range of movement, positive attitude to your recovery and physio exercises, recovery ahead of expectations, etc.

Worked a charm for me after a less than recommended convalescence after a skiing injury, but i do have a good relationship with my AME - He thought I was fine but was struggling to justify returning my medical in less than the CAA recommended period. A well written letter from the physio gave him the top cover.

Good luck
