Expired medical class 1

hello everyone,

does anybody know what the consequences are if my medical has been expired for 1-2weeks from its expiry date? reason is due to the covid travel restrictions, i am unable to travel to the state of issue in time.

thanks for any information or advice.

None, as long as you weren't flying commercially whilst it was expired. Just go and get it renewed. You can let it lapse for up to 5 years before you need to get another initial. (Assuming CAA/EASA)

You don't need to go to the state of issue, you can get a medical done anywhere.
